Who are we?
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT REHEARSALS ARE CANCELLED ON 30th and 31st MARCH DUE TO SEVERAL MEMBERS TESTING POSITIVE FOR COVID. WATCH THIS SPACE FOR NEWS ON THE CONCERT ON 7th APRIL.
We rehearse during school term times only. There are 10 rehearsals per term, 5 before and 5 after each half term (for exact dates, please click on the Dates link)
Dorchester meet at the United Church in the centre of Dorchester on Wednesdays from 6.45pm until 8pm. Parking is to the rear of the church in Charles Street, please use the main front entrance to the church.
Weymouth & Portland meet at St. Aldhelm's Church, Spa Road, Weymouth on Thursdays from 7.15pm until 8.30pm. Parking is limited and the church encourages its users to be eco-aware so car sharing, biking and public transport use is preferred.
Rehearsals begin with a 15 minute warm-up. We then have a brief moment for notices before launching into the songs. Ed does his best to keep the rehearsals enjoyable and relaxed while hopefully making improvements on the songs so that they are a pleasure to listen to during our many concerts and appearances.
You don't need to read music and we don't insist that you sit in sections so friends or partners may sit together if they choose. There are no auditions.
